For years now I have been fascinated by the Paranormal, ever since an incident when I was probably about 6 years old. Since then I have have begun to branch out.

I have Just recently started working with another group as well, CBGH, {Centeral Berkshire Ghost Hunters} I plan soon to link their page to mine.
I also am in the works of teaching a small group WMGH {Western Mass. Ghost Hunter}
Western Massachusetts Ghost Hunters, is a new founded group. I am helping to teach them the " 101 " of ghost hunting, they are a good group an I can see them going places.
I myself have been many places near where I live. These places have all had reputations for being haunted. It was my self driven cause to try an discover wheather this is true or not.

Recently taking up the paranormal as more than just a courious wonder. He is now taking the time to try an document the cases that claim to be true hauntings. He has a real ability for this work. An like me things in his childhood drove him to want to learn an understand the paranormal. His knowledge of equpiment makes him a great asset to the group.

But here in the true bussiness of Ghost Hunting we do have our own types of equipment.
Though our equipment might not be as grand as that of the ghost pack, we still have a vast array of equipment we use to try an document an study the paranormal.
These peices allow us to:
1. See in the dark {I.R}
2. Measure magnetic felids
3. Check temputure
4. Check for motion
5. Record the voices of a spirit
6. Document the whole case

~REAL EQUIPMENT~
THE DIGITAL INFRARED CAMERA -
This is a camera that comes in many types of design, but all serve the same function, to record an area under the complete shadow od darkness. These cameras make night into day an also allow you to film in Infrared, meaning if a spirit or "ghost" might be more easily seen by these means as this camera allows us to see that spectrum.
THE EMF DECTECTOR -
The name of the device stands for Electric Magnetic Field. It is beleived that a spirit can manifest itself causing unknown magnetic fluctuations in that area. Their are a few different types if these as well, but they all do the same function.
{note a milligauss is term used to mesure the out put of the elector magnetic feild}
THE LASER THEMOMETOR -
This device is used to measure the temputure of a room, but unlike normal thermometors this one can pin point a temputure down to a pin point. It is believed that a ghost draws in all energy around it when it trys to manifest, {note} this is why you need to carry extra batteries with you at all times during a investagation. But when they draw energy from a room that room can become cold.
An when this device is used it can help piont to either a possible ghost manifesting or a draft in a window or door, thus ruling out a true ghost haunting.
MOTION SENSORS-
These work on the simaliar prinicipal of the camera, were it uses I.R {infared} as well an when something trips it, you know it. It is believed that a spirit can trip one of these off as well, it also helps to see if "SOMEONE" is there tampering with your investagation.
DIGITAL VOICE RECORDER-
These are the equipment used for recording "ghost voices" or what is refered to as an EVP with stands for Electornic Voice Phenomonon. These are the voices that turn up on a tape/memory chip after the event has happened an are found upon review. They can not be heard, or most can not be heard, withthe naked ear.
These are the peices of equipment used by most there are more commonly known devices used in ghost hunting as well. These I am sure most of you have, an make a great starter kit for anyone who would like to be involed in ghost hunting.
OTHER EQUIPMENT -
THE DIGITAL CAMERA - It is used for simple documention of possible ghost activity. Another tool used by "some" ghost hunter.
THE FILM CAMERA - Though these are not as widely used as musch as they have been in the past, they too work just as good, the only draw back is you must wait longer to see if you catured a ghost in a frame.
THE CAMCORDER- These are film/digital/ or DVD, most of these are used as well to document the event, an hopfully capture a spirit as well, it is best to have one with night vision. As it works like the other {IR} camera up top.
FLASHLIGHTS- A straight forward tool for working in the dark.
SPIRITUAL TOOL -
THE OUJIA BOARD- These are not a game, an I do not recomend anyone useing them, they are not a toy.
PENDULUMS- These are a safer ulturnivte to using the board, with these you can get simple "YES" an "NO" answers by asking it to show one or the other first.
{EXAMPLE- SHOW ME YES} an the pendulum will swing a certain way.
Their are also verious types of crystls and candles people uses as well. For example candles can be used to mark off the corners of a circle of protection when dealing with a potentailly harmful spirit {THOUGH THEY ARE RARE}
